Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. As a child, she was inspired by Boleros, classical music and the traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana is passionate about the operas and tangos and all dramatic performances. Ana started learning how to play the piano and sing in the early years alongside her mother. She was given more formal training in singing when she reached the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. She performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young scholar and professional. Following her move in the United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she relocated to southern California. She performs solo Latin American music for private occasions and is a part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. In addition to being an instructor and performer in the local area the passion for art and music has her active in a variety of initiatives. Ana has also been previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as The Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is a fan of classic Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to do the same.
